Would I buy XP11 again at full price given that XP12 is announced and MSFS is now out there? No, and personally I will probably not get XP12 nor P3Dv6 (if the latter will even be a thing) however on sale I would as it's still a pretty solid sim with foreseeable support that is both freeware and payware which will keep XP11 relevant. For example you're going to want to get Orbx TrueEarth and / or Ortho scenery, World2XP, ect.Īs I mentioned at first I use MSFS, XP and P3D currently, I have a ton of time in all of them put together with tons of addons. What addons / mods are needed can't be answered straightforward, what is it that you want to achieve? Are you going for a MSFS-esque look? It's going to require a lot from you. Something to note is unlike MSFS both P3D and XP require quite a bit from you to get it up to speed. I'm more into the high-end GA addons out there.
